Adolfo Domínguez has unanimously appointed Adriana Domínguez González as CEO

The board of directors of Adolfo Domínguez has unanimously appointed Adriana Domínguez González as CEO of the author fashion group. The appointment takes place 10 months after the executive assumed the general direction of the company. During this time, Adriana Domínguez streamlined the process of improvement and restructuring of the company. 

In the last financial year of Adolfo Domínguez, already led by the new CEO as general manager, the company improved its Ebitda by 75%. Adriana Domínguez, executive director of the company since July of last year, has been linked to the company for 18 years. In the previous year, and as general director, she helped to boost the process of optimisation of the group's commercial network in the world and led initiatives to reconnect the brand with its target audience through communication campaigns such as #yonosoyadolfo and #estonoesunselfie. Also, it boosted growth in markets such as Mexico, where Adolfo Domínguez already has 140 points of sale, as well as disembarkation in countries such as Russia and soon in Australia. 

In the last ten months, the company has concentrated its design and e-commerce teams. The company's online sales increased 22.3% in the previous financial year. In this period, the value of the shares of the company on the Stock Exchange rose by 49.5%. Among the next strategic lines of action of the company is the merger of the different brands with which the company has worked in recent years -U, AD + and Adolfo Dominguez- in a single brand: Adolfo Dominguez. This project, which will involve the transformation of 115 stores, is aimed at improving the efficiency and profitability of the company. 

Adriana Domínguez González (Ourense, 1976) is an economist, with a degree in International Business Administration (Icade E4). His extensive international training in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain and Germany, allows him to master 5 languages. He holds a Masters in Thought from the Contemporary School of Humanities in Madrid and also belongs to the professional club of actors of The Actors Studio in New York.
