Shipping within Australia

What are my shipping options when shopping online?

Standard Shipping:

  • For all online orders, Australia wide standard shipping is free for orders over $300.
  • For all online orders, Australia wide standard shipping is $8 for orders under $300.

Express Shipping:

  • For all online orders, Australia wide express shipping starts at $20 for orders.

 

All shipping rates are for online orders only and do not apply for purchases in Adolfo Dominguez stand alone or David Jones stores. Online orders made via Click & Collect and Store to Door incur stand-alone store shipping rates if required to be posted. Please contact these stores directly for their shipping rates.

When can I expect to receive my order?

This depends on where you’re located and the postage speed you have selected when checking out. We have provided some general guidelines below, though you will be able to track your delivery once it has been dispatched:

Please note that the delivery times listed are should be treated as estimates only. Expected delivery timeframes commence from your parcel is dispatched.

Orders are dispatched between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm AEST Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders received after 3:00 pm AEST or outside of AEST business hours will be dispatched the following business day.

While we make every effort to ship your order within the timeframes supplied, unforeseen delays in shipping during peak trade times may occasionally occur. Peak trade times may include special promotions, mid-season sale, end of season sale, and holiday periods (including public holidays). In the event, you have paid for shipping, and your order is delayed during a peak trade period, please contact our customer service department for a shipping refund.

How will I know how much shipping will cost?

When it comes to selecting a shipping method and speed, you have a few options. Advice specific to the pricing of the garment you are viewing can be found just below the size selection, or you can alternatively click ‘CALCULATE SHIPPING ’ on the product page to confirm what options are available to you.

A final shipping cost will be automatically calculated when completing your purchase at checkout, based on the delivery location, shipping service selected and Adolfo Dominguez Club membership. The service that will best suit your needs will be automatically selected, making checkout simple. All shipping charges are non-refundable. If shipping to a business, please include the business name and full address at checkout.

Will I be able to track my order?

Yes! Once your order has been dispatched from our distribution centre, an email will be sent with your parcel tracking number and a link to which you can click to check the status of your delivery.

What if my parcel isn’t able to be delivered?

All of our parcels require a signature upon receipt of delivery. If delivery of a parcel cannot be made, the driver will leave a delivery card at the nominated delivery address. If this occurs, an email will also be sent to notify you of the attempted delivery and the location of the parcel, once it has been redirected to the nearest post office for your collection.

To collect the parcel the delivery card must be presented with a form of photo ID, and parcels must be collected within ten business days from the date it is received by the local post office. If an undelivered parcel is not collected within ten business days, it will be returned to us, and you will be notified via email. Redelivery is charged at an additional $10 for express shipping.

What options do I have when shipping internationally?

Your options will depend on your delivery country and will be displayed at checkout.

How much will shipping cost?

International shipping is calculated based on various factors including the chosen or available shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the Borderfree international checkout based on these factors.

How are duties and taxes calculated?

Duties (or customs tariffs) are set by the destination country customs authorities and determined based on a combination of the country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise by a system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports. International taxes (such as Value Added Tax, or VAT) are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Borderfree international checkout.

What if an item cannot be shipped due to import restrictions?

If for some reason there are any items that cannot be exported from Australia or imported into your destination country, Borderfree will make you aware of this during the checkout process.

Will I need to pay any additional charges when my order arrives?

If you select to prepay duties and taxes, the order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you’ll be charged by Borderfree, and there will be no additional costs due upon delivery. If you choose to not prepay duties and taxes, you may incur additional charges upon the arrival of your order.

Will you provide international tracking?

You will receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are dispatched on the same or next business day Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays) depending on the time you place your order relative to Sydney time (this is where your order is being shipped from).
